Curt Wegner, founder of Curtis Daniel Homes, grew up with a passion for architecture. He started college as an architecture major, but a few years later he found himself graduating with a degree in accounting and a job with a major public accounting firm. Curt knew early on that this was not his ultimate path, and very quickly accepted a position with one of the nation’s largest homebuilders.
As a leader and strong contributor, Curt participated in all aspects of the homebuilding business, from land acquisition and development, to home design, material purchasing, and construction. Eventually Curt became the Charleston Division President for a large regional homebuilder before deciding to start his own company.
Curtis Daniel Homes was started with one simple goal, “Surpass the Ordinary.” In the world of custom homebuilding, ordinary means exceeding expectations. We want to go a step further. From communication and teamwork, to design and build and everything in between, surpassing the ordinary permeates all facets of our business.
When Curt is not building homes, he enjoys spending time with his amazing wife Alpana, their two boys, Dhillon and Daman, and their two yellow labs, Lucky and Lulu. The family loves to travel, particularly out West on their annual ski vacation and to Lake Keowee for their annual summer vacation. And whenever time permits, you will find Curt enjoying a quick round of golf.
